New high-speed trains will serve the route Tashkent-Bukhara-Khiva. To date, all road construction works have already been completed on the Urgench-Khiva section, the construction of the Khiva station, the construction of three hotel complexes and the Khiva Lokomotiv park are underway.
The total cost of the Urgench-Khiva electrification project is approximately $ 36 million. After its launch, tourists will be able to navigate comfortably between high-speed high-speed trains between the historical pearls of Uzbekistan - Tashkent, Bukhara, Samarkand and Khiva.
The modern station in Khiva can simultaneously serve up to 200 people. Given that it is as close as possible to the world-famous monument - the city-museum in the open air Ichan-Kala, the project of the station was specially designed taking into account the combination with the surrounding ancient architecture.
