The history of music culture of Central Asia is many centuries old The national classic music with its original timbre and harmonious sounds of musical instruments had been originating during a long period time beginning from antique ages. The trip goes through different regions of Uzbekistan. You will visit theatres and attend musical concerts of modern Uzbek composers.

You will find out about the long history of formation and development of national music and musical instruments, that was depicted partially in ancient written sources, paintings or rock carvings.

You will get a chance to listen to the voices of modern hafizes (national singers) playing the Uzbek music instruments (tambour, doyra, nay, chang, surnay and others).

Breakfast. Transfer to Samarkand. Arrival, check-in to hotel. Lunch. Visiting home museum of Khadji Abdu Aziz, meeting with local hafizes. Dinner.

Overnight in Samarkand

  3 day   

Breakfast. Visiting Museum of musical instruments in Registan Square (includes Ulughbek Madrasseh (XV a), Sher-Dor Madrasseh (XVII c.) and Tilla-Kori Madrasseh (XVII c.); Gur-Emir Mausoleum (XIV c.), Ruhabad (XV c.). Lunch. Tour (rant). Bibi-Khanum Mosque (XIV c.), Shahi-Zinda memorial ensemble (XI-XIX cc.), Ulughbek Observatory (XV c.). Dinner. Visiting Musical Comedy Theatre.

Overnight in Samarkand

Breakfast Transfer to Bukhara. Arrival, check-in to hotel. Lunch. Sightseeing: Lyabi-Khauz ensemble (XVI-XVII cc.) - mosque, Nadir Devon-Begi Madrasseh (XVII c.), Kukeldash Madrasseh (XVI c.). Visiting Toki-Telpakfurushon, Toki-Sarrafon, Toki-Zargaron ancient trade shops (XVI c.) with musical show by "Bukharachr folklore group. Dinner and concert programme by 'Bukhararaqs' group in Nadir Devon-Begi Madrasseh.

Overnight in Bukhara

Breakfast Out-of-city tour to Ghijduvan (45 km). Visiting Museum and pottery of Nazrullaevs' family, Ghijduvani architectural complex (XVII c.). Return to Bukhara. Lunch. Sightseeing: Poyi-Kalon architectural ensemble - Kalon Minaret (XII c.) and mosque (XV c.), Miri-Arab Madrasseh (XVI c.), Ark ancient citadel (I-XX cc.), Bolo-Khauz mosque (XVIII c.), Samanids Mausoleum (IX-X cc.), Chashma-Ayub (XIV c.). Dinner. Visiting Puppet Show Theatre.

Overnight in Bukhara

Breakfast. Tour in Khiva (35 km): "Historical and architectural preserve" - Ichan-Kala complex (internal part of town, I-XIX cc.). Visiting Museum of Musical Instruments. Lunch. Tour (cont): - Dishan-Kala complex (external part of town, XIX-XX cc.). Visiting national wedding ceremony. Dinner. Concert by Khorezmian musicians.

Overnight in Urgench

Breakfast Transfer to airport. Flight to Tashkent. Arrival, check-in to hotel. Lunch. Tashkent sightseeing tour. Dinner. Visiting the Muqimiy Theatre of Musical Comedy.
